Franck Muller launches the Grand Central Tourbillon mid mounted tourbillon wristwatch Franck Muller has launched a new tourbillon watch, the Grand Central Tourbillon, which features a unique "center mounted tourbillon" structure that allows the slowly rotating tourbillon to become the visual focus on the dial. The Cintr é e Curvex barrel case has been redesigned with slim and smooth lines, and the upper and lower ends of the mirror extend to the ear, making the dial more spacious and open. The case is made of carbon fiber, with a delicate texture. The black and gray stripes of carbon fiber create a subtle texture, which is both charming and elegant, as well as abstract and casual. The lacquered dial, paired with a striking oversized Arabic numeral time mark, is embossed with a spiral pattern that diverges from the inside out, echoing the rotation of the tourbillon. Due to the tourbillon occupying the central position of the dial, the pointer gear system was also modified accordingly, and the pointer was installed on the edge of the tourbillon, as if suspended on the dial. Equipped with a self-made FM CX 40T-CTR automatic winding movement, with a swing frequency of 28800vph, providing up to 4 days of power reserve. Paired with fluororubber tailoring nylon strap, the new version features a special brushed folding buckle.
